Anglicare Christmas Toy Appeal 2023

Thousands of children are in Out of Home care in Victoria. While Christmas is a time of joy & celebration for many, it can also be a challenging, isolating time for vulnerable kids or parents & families who are struggling to make ends meet. 

Anglicare Victoria is an organisation that works tirelessly to support & provide emergency relief to tens of thousands of Victorian families each year, whether it be through crisis-support, harm-prevention, setting up longer-term care & housing, or partnering with communities.

When my son’s school reached out to parents to donate toys to Anglicare’s annual Christmas Toy Appeal, I was eager to get involved. All kids deserve to have a Merry Christmas, so I have donated 200 of our bright, sunny cloth dolls Miss Poppy and Miss Jadie—valued at $11,800—to this worthy cause.
